Pipeline for Cleaning (six stages)

GUIDE
You do this yourself today. I give you the checklist or the script.
DFY
I do this for you. It is part of the package.
LATER
I add this after day 15, once the phone side is running.

1) Get found

Be the bonded name they book for Thursday.

Cleaning search wants a person they will let into the house. A card with no photos, no insurance, and three reviews from 2021 does not get the first clean.

House cleaning LSA depends on the market, so I do not promise it in every ZIP. Recurring is the prize: keep move-out / deep clean separate from weekly. Commercial janitorial usually needs Search + GBP.
  • GUIDENiche checklist; services list weekly, biweekly, move-out, add-ons.
  • DFYClaim and complete GBP. Tracking numbers on card, site, ads.
  • DFYHouse cleaning LSA where live, or Search when LSA is thin. You keep the accounts.
  • LATERCity pages, WordPress you own. Not week 1.

2) Answer first

Get the first quote in their inbox this week.

They asked three cleaners for a first-clean date. The one who texted a price band, a checklist, and a day got the key.

Speed here means a quote and a date within business hours and evenings. Emergency language does not fit, but text-back still does, because a lot of this buyer prefers text.
  • GUIDEScript: first-clean vs recurring. Never quote weekly on a move-out photo.
  • DFYText-first intake: beds, baths, pets, frequency, first available crew. Missed-call SMS under a minute. Hold a slot.
  • DFYOne number per channel. Weekly listen of recordings.
  • LATERLive answering into your calendar.

3) Look trusted

The sale is bonded, background-checked, and nothing goes missing.

They are handing a key to a stranger. One theft review ends the card.

Recurring clients almost never review unless asked. Move-out clients review if you ask the same afternoon.
  • GUIDEReview ask after visit 2 or 3 of a recurring, and after move-out the same day.
  • DFYProfile attributes: bonded, insured, background check. Finished kitchen/bath photos (with permission). Reply to cancel/no-show reviews.
  • LATERReview cadence engine.

4) Keep the job

Turn the first clean into a standing day.

Great first clean, never asked for a standing day, and they went with the neighbor's cleaner.

Two machines: residential recurring (churn and quality) vs commercial (contract, night hours). Follow-up is "keep Thursday?"
  • GUIDEDay 1 / 3 / 7 style standing-day ask and win-back.
  • DFYDay-1 thank-you + standing-day ask. Quality check after visit 1 and visit 4. Win-back at day 21 of a lapse.
  • LATERCommercial night-crew QA, supervisor walk-throughs.

5) Fill the trucks

Turnover is part of this trade, so hire ahead of it.

You booked new weeklies and two cleaners quit. Cancels become reviews that kill the card.

A hiring page keeps customers as much as it recruits. List a same-week backup cleaner.
  • GUIDEAd: pay, hours, background check required, no-show rule.
  • DFYHiring page + GBP. Backup cleaner path so a no-show does not hit the customer.
  • LATERRecruiting ads.

6) See the money

Dollars per hour, first-clean to recurring, and churn.

A move-out and a weekly both look like "leads." A move-out is one payday; a weekly is a year of revenue if they stay.

First-clean to standing-day conversion and hours per job matter more than cost per call. No invented averages.
  • GUIDEMissed-call / quiet-phone math on YOUR ticket. Floor: what % of first cleans must convert so paid still pays (your prices).
  • DFYScoreboard: first-clean, converted-to-recurring, move-out, commercial. Revenue per hour and 30-day churn.
